Supplementing a property casualty insurance claim is the process of submitting an estimate to the insurance company that contains additional line items that were not included in the insurance adjuster’s initial estimate.

Claim Game creates supplemental estimates using the same software that most major insurance companies use, Xactimate. Documentation to support supplement requests including photos, code documentation, and subcontractor estimates are submitted to the insurance adjuster in an organized and easy to read format to ensure there are no delays in the supplementing process. It is important to provide the insurance adjuster with everything they need to approve the supplements that are being requested. Because supplements is our business, we know what documentation is needed to support all supplement requests and make sure the information is forwarded with the estimate.

Xactimate estimate are estimates that usually are associated with an insurance claim and serve as an estimate for repairs given to the property owner. Unlike supplement claims, there is typically no supporting documentation associated with these estimates.

Claim Game has created an App for supplementing residential property claims. The App walks you through a series of questions regarding the claim and existing damage to a property. Once you have answered all the questions, the App will generate a PDF form that will tell you what items need to be supplemented. It also provides you with the note needed to justify the item and tells you what supporting documentation you will need to attach to your supplement request (photos, measurement report, codes, etc.). To take it one step further, we provide you with rebuttals for adjuster denials, so you have a higher percentage of approved supplements. Simply pull out the PDF when you are discussing the supplement request and all the information you need is right there in front of you. Of note is that this App does not put an estimate together, it simply gives you the list of supplement items that need to be added to the claim based on the answers to the questions in the App.
